We are hiring a Senior Process Scientist to join our New Purification Plant five (PPV) that is about to start the manufacturing phase soon.

The activities will be carried out at our site in Kalundborg, Novo Nordisk hub for API manufacturing. 

The Position

As a Senior process scientist/engineer, you will support getting the new equipment up and running and validating the purification processes. You will have a high degree of responsibility, drive own task and mentor junior colleagues.

Amongst others, you can look forward to working with the following tasks:

-Participate in qualification activities prior to process validation.

-Tests and documentation

-Validation of the purification process

-Stakeholder management

You will take an active part in a competent user organisation, integrated with engineering partners, and collaborating with stakeholders within Novo Nordisk. You will be a key player in ensuring smooth transition into production and implementing best practises for following up on process performance and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we imagine that you have:

-At least 6 years of experience within Good Manufacturing Practice and ideally Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing.

-Minimum a bachelor’s level education in in e.g. chemical engineering, Biotechnology, Natural Sciences, or similar.

-A solid understanding of unit operations, pharmaceutical processes, and documentation. 

-Full professional English proficiency (verbal and written).

-It would be advantageous if you have knowledge and experience related to implementing new process equipment and validation of API processes.

-Further a solid understanding of automation systems for production (PCS and MES) will be an advantage.

About the Department

We are a newly established purification department in Novo Nordisk API. We are qualifying and validating a new purification facility, together with numerous stakeholders.

You will be part of a Process Support team with dedicated experienced and junior colleagues, where we take pride in collaboration, so we get access to all the knowledge and know-how that everyone in the team possesses.
