Today, we have a growing pipeline of product therapies in development, each designed to be a best-in-class therapy.The roleIn this role, you will lead the Pricing Governance function at Ascendis by managing the European & International Pricing Group, including serving as the group secretary during discussions and approvals of launch lists and net prices by Ascendis’ CEO, CCO, CFO, and VP and Head of Market Access & Pricing, Europe & International. You will be responsible for analyzing and developing European and international brand pricing policies, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals. Additionally, you will represent Europe & International Market Access & Pricing in various cross-functional teams and affiliate groups, contributing to the preparation of business cases and forecasts. You will oversee all pricing analyses, including owning the IRP model, to ensure accurate and effective pricing strategies. Finally, you will establish yourself as the leading authority within Ascendis on all pharmaceutical and biotech pricing mechanisms, policies, and governance, providing expert guidance across the organization.You should be based in one of the countries and cities where we operate in Europe —Copenhagen, Munich, Madrid, Milan, London, or Paris—while reporting to the VP and Head of Market Access & Pricing, Europe & International.Your key responsibilities will be

• Own and develop Europe & International pricing management systems and governance processes
• Work with countries to ensure solid business cases to facilitate informed discussions and decisions in the Europe & International Pricing Group
• Peer-lead cross-functional efforts into building international/global brand pricing policies that maximizes brand commercial potential and ambitions
• Represent Europe & International Market Access & Pricing in business case and forecasting projects
• Work closely with Finance and Marketing to ensure ambitious yet realistic forecasts to inform and facilitate development, manufacturing, medical and commercial investment decisions
• Own Europe & International pricing analytical tools incl. IRP model and pricing data bases

Qualifications and skills

• A minimum of 10-15 years of specific European/International pharma and biotech pricing leadership experience with managing across therapy areas
• Ideally an economic or business educational background combined with years of hands-on both affiliate and/or regional/global market access experience incl. proven success stories in articulating international/regional pricing policies
• Proven track record of leading company pricing governance, management and brand pricing policies for successful
