We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.As a Senior Pricing and Commercial Operations Specialist Vision Care Europe you will be responsible to analyze and optimize Pricing and Promotions in VC Europe and she/he contributes to the consistent implementation of commercial strategy/actions across the VC Europe Franchise.In this role, a typical day will include:The Senior Pricing and Commercial Operations Specialists Vision Care Europe focuses on two areas:– Pricing & PromotionsMonitors, analyses Internal and external pricing data to understand competitive situation for VC EuropeAnalyses impact of promotions on Sales, profitability and share gainDerives action recommendations for pricing/promotions to optimize for profitability and market share gainsDerives best practices and drives disseminationPrepares/supports annual country price and trade terms reviews in conjunction with Region and Intl. PricingPromotion Pricing Pre-Approval check (e-thumb)Consolidates country feedback on pricing tools for International– Consistent Commercial Operations ExecutionPerforms bi-annual Private Label contract reviews to ensure minimum volume and pricing thresholds are metCoordinate Discontinuation/Portfolio clean ups in VC EuropeSupports both the Region and countries with analyses, in which different data types (e.g. market, financial, pricing, commercial execution data) need to be combined to prepare decision making and action taking
