Duties included planning and progressing of all construction works, including, civil/structural, building finishes, clean rooms, H.V.A.C., equipment packages, piping, electrical and instrumentation.You’ll be responsible for:Developing schedules for the above contracts and development of system based mechanical completion schedule.Interfacing with clients’ scheduler to ensure correct interface between construction and commissioning phases.Developing progress reporting formats – milestone tables, progress curves and ad hoc reports.Providing planning support throughout whole project cycle including preparation of tender schedules, method statements and detailed works programmes.Supporting all planning functions throughout contract delivery, ensuring accurate forecasting, best practice methodologies for construction and project controls.Assisting with the preparation, assessment and the negotiating extension of time claims utilising forensic delay analysis techniques.Supporting cost and time claims through formulation and preparation of programme analysis.Involving in understanding forensic delay analysis, EOT claim and assessment on major claims, overview of major programmes, cash flow, resources, progress review and commercial review in coordination with managers of other departments.Being part of the planning team to develop contract programmes, monitor and report on progress.Assessing performance with operations in order to deliver project scope to profit and programme.

Integrating the planning functions of numerous areas of operations by setting up training programme to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and coordination between the sites-based planners and project management staff to ensure all planning deliverables are being met.Carrying out budget analysis on manpower and provide timely feedback to estimation. * Performing all activities in compliance with the company’s health and safety responsibilities.You’ll need to have:Working in a large portfolio of projectsMentoring and upskilling of inexperienced plannersImplementation of planning principles within the project management communityWorking with large range of stakeholdersPlanning of complicated infrastructure projects and summarisation of these into portfolio level schedules.Experienced P6 user (P6 pro)Familiarisation with P6 EPPM (Web) – for config management.Management of large data sets into simple reporting formats, through coding and layout manipulationBaseline control and config * Schedule import and exportYou’ll also have:NECConstruction – living accommodation, offices, workshops, sports facilities, associated infrastructureFamiliarisation with other planning software – Microsoft Project, Asta power projectSchedule risk analysis (QSRA)P6 configuration management – user access, OBS creation and management, user profiles, OBS assignationSet up and use of resources – future project not yet required * Use of P6 for EVM – future project not yet required.Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
