Senior Planner

We’re looking for a Senior Planner to join our Hinkley Point C team based in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Some hybrid working is available, but you will need to be on the site weekly.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Planner, you’ll be familiar with reinforced concrete frame construction, so you can lead a small team of planners.

Your day to day will include:

• Produce programmes for acceptance, impact programmes, weekly lookaheads, project controls dashboards, reports and programme narratives
• Analyse the project metrics, in particular rates of work to ensure key programme dates can be tracked with accuracy and displayed in project dashboards
• Support commercial team to produce accurate forecasts to end of project based on labour resource and materials forecasting
• Accurately resource load, level and maintain schedule resources in P6 environment, to support project management decisions on sequences of work
• Support earned value analysis of project

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:

• You will have UK, NEC contract based Planning experience
• You’ll be familiar with Reinforced Concrete Frame building techniques/methodologies
• Must have 5 years + Planning experience
• Must be comfortable dealing directly with clients
• Must be confident to manage small team
