Join our Energy Transition team and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleAs our new Senior Pipeline Project Manager, you’ll join a dynamic and high performing team overseeing diverse global projects, ranging from traditional gas infrastructure to green initiatives with a growing portfolio of Hydrogen and CO2 pipelines, as well as submarine cables for offshore wind farms. Your role will assist in managing the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept to detailed design and on-site supervision.Your key responsibilities
- Leading the Pipeline Engineering discipline input for complex, multi-disciplines projects with Clients.
- Developing and implementing discipline-specific project management processes tailored to the unique challenges of major energy transition projects.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to provide discipline specific project scope, objectives, and deliverables, in line with sustainability and environmental impact objectives.
- Providing and maintaining input to project documentation for major projects, including project plans, schedules, and budgets, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Monitoring and reporting on relevant input to project progress, identifying and addressing risks and challenges specific to the overall scope.
- Supporting the wider project team in managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance project outcomes and promote sustainable practices in major projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements for major projects.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on advancing our position in the energy transition market, particularly in the Major Projects department.

- Master’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Experience in the design and delivery of onshore and offshore pipeline projects from concept to construction, working to stringent quality, budget, time, and safety factors.
- Experience with Hydrogen and/or CO2 pipeline systems would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of pipeline design software (e.g. SIMLA, ANSYS, FatFree, Stablelines)
- Experience in pipeline design codes and disciplines, (DNV, API, ASME, NACE) relating to wall thickness, route selection, global buckling design, fatigue, material selection and on-bottom stability.
- Experience to also include landfall design and trenchless pipeline construction techniques, pipeline commissioning, and start-up.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, chairing progress meetings, delivering comprehensive management reports.
