In the Netherlands, Prysmian Group has been represented since 1910 by Draka and Prysmian, in total 3 entities and 4 locations: Delft (also Prysmian HQ Northern Europe), Eindhoven, Emmen, and Nieuw Bergen, specializing in the production of electrical cable for use in the energy and telecom sectors and for optical fibers.Your roleWe are expanding our payroll team to set up our centralized payroll and further build our capabilities in Delft. We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist with a passion for precision and punctuality. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly payroll of our 1.000 employees in the Netherlands. You also are the first point of contact for all employees and managers related to payroll and time registration. The focus of this position is payroll processing, time registration, and preparing management reports.Responsibilities

  • Monthly processing of payroll mutations (submitting, processing and checking) to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with CLA Metalektro, company policies and legal requirements.
  • Be go-to person for all our 1.000 employees. Serve as a first line contact point for all kind of queries.
  • Weekly reporting of the worked hours of agency workers and communication to the agency bureaus; calculation of the final payment when the agency worker leaves.
  • Monthly reporting of the PAWW declaration and communication to Finance.
  • Monthly reporting for holiday accrual.
  • Monthly preparing overview of holiday balances for Management.
  • Prepare monthly Headcount reporting.
  • Keep general mailboxes for payroll and time registration up-to-date.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, third party payroll provider and other departments to streamline payroll integration and operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within payroll operations.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years related work experience.
  • MBO/HBO level, PDL and VPS is a nice to have.
  • Knowledge of Dutch tax and social security regulations, WKR, split payroll and 30%-ruling.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office with excellent skill in Excel.
  • Bonus points if you are familiar with Workday, Alight payroll and AFAS.
  • Fluent in Dutch and good communication skills in English.
  • Able to work in independently with a hybrid work environment while also collaborating effectively within a team, providing support and back-up as needed.
