Together, we are responsible for the operation and digitalisation of all facility related processes at Novo Nordisk sites around Denmark.Each year, Novo Nordisk manufactures medicines for millions of people living with diabetes and other chronic diseases. That takes a lot of energy, and as we expect to serve even more people in the future, we need to reassess our energy infrastructure. The Site Energy Upgrade (SEU) program has been established to ensure that all our Danish factory sites have access to a robust, scalable, and sustainable energy supply.As a Senior OT/IT Solution Architect, you will work closely with your colleagues both in the digital part of the program as well as across DD&IT to help define and design new digital solutions and integrate new technologies and innovative solutions that support the ambitious digital strategy in the Energy Solutions area.Please note that the position is based in Bagsværd, but will require visits to our factory sites in Denmark, so you should expect some travel activity.QualificationsWe are looking for a person with an entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who is energised by taking responsibility and setting direction for the architectural design. You have excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities that enable you to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive the alignment between IT and business objectives.We imagine that you have an academic background within a relevant field such as IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration. Additionally, you could be our perfect candidate, if you can see yourself in most of the following qualifications:
- +5 years of relevant experience as an IT/OT Architect or similar role successfully delivering complex projects in larger organizations
- Experience in energy design, energy infrastructure, or utility installations is an advantage
- Foundational knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks e.g. TOGAF
- Excellent communication skills that span across functions, organisation levels, and cultures
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a requirement, while Danish will be advantageous
About the departmentYou will work in the Design & Delivery department, which is anchored in the DD&IT Staffs organisation that has approximately 220 employees based in Denmark, India and the USA. DD&IT Staffs supports the three global staff functions in Novo Nordisk: People & Organisation, Finance, Legal & Global Solutions, and Quality & Facilities.Our department currently consists of 18 experienced and highly engaged people with different professional backgrounds within Solution Architecture & Project Management.
