The Learning and Leadership Development (LLD) Team is a key part of Organisational Development, responsible for all aspects of learning and leadership development.About the roleIn the newly created job of Senior OD Consultant (LLD) – Partnering, you’ll provide expert L&D/OD practitioner insights and strong skills in using a range of OD consulting and diagnostic methods to deliver learning and leadership development solutions.Together with the Senior OD Consultant (LLD) – Digital Operations, you’ll be responsible for the hands-on delivery of the Learning and Leadership Development offer and leading end-to-end organisation-wide programmes and development initiatives.You will lead on embedding an OD people partnering approach within LLD and collaborate with HR and OD colleagues to develop HR/OD interventions to meet emerging organisational requirements.UCL currently has a hybrid working policy. You’ll be required to work in our Bloomsbury office 2 days per week, and definitely be present at one collaborative working day per week (usually Monday.) UCL is a flexible employer and job-share and flexible working arrangements will be considered.About youTo do this job you’ll need to be a highly credible and skilled L&D/OD professional with significant experience of internal consultancy in a complex organisation, and experience of leading and managing a team.Your capability in designing, delivering and evaluating the impact of large-scale digitally integrated blended learning and leadership development programmes will be substantial, and evident in the examples you can give of how you done this for different levels – first-line managers, middle managers, leaders and at an executive leadership level.Through your effective project management skills and operational management experience you will help the team to deliver innovative and fit-for-purpose people development solutions across the whole OD cycle.Your ability to influence, build and maintain relationships to achieve results in a complex environment is crucial.Key also will be your ability to facilitate conversations with senior stakeholders to identify areas requiring OD support and how you proactively and positively collaborate with colleagues across OD and HR to deliver joined-up solutions.Please review the attached Job Description, paying particular attention to the Essential and Desirable criteria, and ensure these are covered in your application.Please note – we’re also hiring for a Senior OD Consultant (LLD) – Digital & Operations.
