Your Future.This position can be remote within the United States with travel to our Modesto, CA headquarters as needed.As a Senior .Net Platform Developer, you will be responsible for all types of development and customizations on “the platform”, including coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating and/or modifying existing applications/configurations. You will work alongside Platform Administrators (Configurator role), Business Relationship Managers, and other Team members providing strategic solutions to support the needs of the business.What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of technical solutions in accordance with requirements provided by the business and/or other areas within the IT organization.
  • Applies industry best practices and advanced methodologies, including Scrum techniques, to address and review system requirements, business processes, changing development and technology environments.
  • Creates new functionality to modify and extend existing apps using appropriate technologies.
  • Responsible for conducting or coordinating quality assurance testing and quality assurance practices to deliver IT services that meet requirements, work as planned and integrate with other IT services.
  • Ability to execute to business requirements and be able to identify risks in the development process.
  • Performs root cause analysis for any technical application issues.
  • Utilizes technical understanding to ensure successful upgrades and implementation of future phases of application.
  • Makes recommendations and proposals to leadership on architectural integration design.
  • Plans and prepares documentation of the development and functioning of operational systems including technical reports and instructional manuals.
  • Provides training and support for designated customers. Leads project, conducts internal and external meetings as needed.
  • Develops and mentors peers.
  • Provides timely guidance and feedback to peers help strengthen specific skill areas.
  • Provides technical guidance and business knowledge to peers on semi-complex projects.
  • Promotes best practices across different groups.
  • Participates in creating work plans for others and is expected to meet budget and schedule commitments, as well as communicate project status to all levels of management.
  • Participates in 6-quarter product roadmap planning.
  • Drives performance measurements in all elements including development, delivery, operations, SLAs, and customer service.
  • Understands the capabilities and constraints of the platform and maximize their value in our applications and tools.
  • Understands the business areas supported to determine specific output requirements and report format. Supports multiple business areas.
  • Functions as a liaison with other departments, divisions, and organizations.
  • Continually looks for ways to improve systems and processes and runs improvement projects.
  • Ability to actively identify new areas for learning; regularly creating and taking advantage of learning opportunities.
  • Works on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously, ranging from moderately to highly complex in an Agile development environment.
  • Works independently with little to no guidance and direction from others.
  • May be required to provide on-call support during off-hours.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Math, Systems Engineering, or Data Sciences plus 3 years of IT experience; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of IT experience; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of IT experience.
  • Advanced experience in: Web Development (ie. html, javascript, css), Object Oriented Programming, Continuous Integration Software Development process, Data Modeling/Management, Change Management.
  • Competency with REST/SOAP API functions.
  • Knowledge of latest integration technologies available between applications and platforms.
  • Full understanding of Agile methodologies and ITSM processes such as incident, problem, change management, and project development content.
  • Advanced experience in data management concepts or data modeling on a major data management platform.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Math, Systems Engineering, or Data Sciences plus 5 years of IT experience; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of IT experience; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 10 years of IT experience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead projects.
  • Demonstrates the ability to develop and lead others.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analysis techniques.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in basic office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • 5 years of experience in software development using the .NET framework, including designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex software applications
  • Experience with ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
  • AngularJS 2 or higher, jQuery, JavaScript, Web API, C#, MVC, Entity Framework
  • Architectural Design knowledge, ReactJS, Micro Services concepts
  • Strong experience developing SPA, responsive UI
  • Strong experience in development using latest UI Frameworks
  • Strong experience developing REST APIs and WCF services
  • Senior level experience in .Net core, Entity Framework, SQL server platform
  • Proficient in visual layout, design, and CSS3
  • Experience in Angular JS or React.Js
  • Knowledge of SAP APIs ( iDocs, BAPI and oData)

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $88,200 – $147,000
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
