Here’s some more on the business areas with vacancies:The Compliance TeamThis team is comprised of the Technical Authorities (TA) for anything from HVAC and Pressure systems to CE Marking. The TA’s are the experts in their field and are called upon from across the business to share their expertise and guidance, ensuring everything we do is safe and to industry standards.What will the Compliance Team want you to do?Producing designs in accordance with contract requirementsManaging sub-contractor design input including requisitions, specifications, design and document reviews, and change controlEnsuring all procedures are adhered to, including CDM, Risk Assessments, change control and specifications

Working with internal and external partners to promote and achieve the Quality Management Plan objectivesSupporting the Project Manager and Lead Project Engineer through design, construction and commissioning phasesCoaching and Mentoring less experienced members of the teamThe Capital Engineering Delivery TeamThis area undertakes engineering assessment and design work in support of several key portfolios:Nuclear Risk Management – ensuring that the engineering assets supporting our safety cases are suitable and sufficient to protect our people and the publicDesign assessment of existing assets and identification of areas for improvementEngineering design for new assets and infrastructure, or for modification of existing installationsWhat will the Capital Engineering Delivery Team want you to do?Lead other mechanical engineers within the team, providing advice and guidanceLead delivery of engineering and design tasks within assigned areasInterfacing with other disciplines, both technical and non-technicalEstimating and planning mechanical engineering tasksSupporting the Engineering Manager in ensuring that the requirements are correct and adequateEnsuring that the design intent and configured baseline are maintained throughout the facility lifecycleWhat will you need to be considered for the above?A Degree, HND/HNC or an equivalent vocational qualification, in an engineering discipline supported by considerable practical experience, with or working towards professional registrationExperience of preparing technical reports and documentationAwareness of Destructive and Non-destructive testing techniques for product certification and through life monitoringAwareness of the development, testing and evaluation of Engineering designsGood written, verbal and presentation skillsProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) including configuration management and quality controlA good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act (HSAWA), Construction Design Management (CDM), risk assessments.Experience of Safety Cases or working in a highly regulated (e.g. Nuclear, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas) industry would be beneficialExperience of 2D and 3D CAD#LI-MBPlease note that you must be a British Citizen to apply for a role with us.Our ambition is to create workplaces where we recognise and celebrate differences, encourage diverse contributions and our employees feel able to be themselves at work.
