We are searching for Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Researches, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems.

  • Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs.

  • May be responsible for the transfer from R&D to manufacturing.

  • Analysis and optimization of the NVH device performances.

An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies – from design to implementation – while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

Must Have

  • Experience: 7y min in industrial mechanical design.

  • MSc. in Mechanical Engineering (PhD is a plus).

  • Deep knowledge in NVH analysis (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) both theoretical and experimental (applied to biomedical devices is a plus).

  • Deep knowledge in mechanical design.

  • Deep knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic technologies (applied to biomedical devices is a plus).

  • Deep knowledge of the of NVH analysis tools (Matlab, LabView)

  • Knowledge of the 3D modeling (PTC Creo).

  • Knowledge of PLM systems (PTC Windchill).

  • Knowledge of international standards (applied to biomedical devices).

  • Knowledge of English (C1 level min).

  • Knowledge of mechanical simulations (FEA ANSYS) is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Microsoft Project

  • Software: SAP, SVN;

  • Knowledge of R&D documentation

  • Design Control and Design Transfer
