Senior Marketing Manager, Paid App Marketing – 12 month FTC

About the Role: 

Our Marking team are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, specialising in Paid App Marketing on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. If you’d love the chance to spend a year experiencing an opportunity that allows you to be both creative and analytical, whilst reaching millions of our users every day, this Paid App Marketing role could be for you.

One day could look like approving a creative concept, and learning about the next TikTok trends, the next could be getting into some YoY data influencing how we market to new users in a particular market. Overall you’ll be supporting the organisation in delivering the best experience to travellers across the world.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Management of the strategy and performance for some of our key Paid App tactics
  • Responsible for six-digit budgets, hitting install and efficiency targets
  • Development of App acquisition strategies for Android and IOS with a global scope
  • Supporting with Team Ops, guiding team on roadmap delivery and prioritisation
  • Performance and trend monitoring, working with team to identify opportunities for optimisation
  • Driving relevant Martech projects forward, being a point of contact for x-functional goals
  • Isolation of trends using internal and external data to inspire new campaigns and optimization of existing activity
  • Creative planning, seeking engaging content that will engage and convert our users
  • Drive new partner testing, working through onboarding needs and establishing plan for app media partners
  • Identifying and sharing industry trends from across the media and tech landscape, to inspire innovation within the Paid team.
  • Being a great example to our wider Marketing team, exemplifying Skyscanner values

Key Skills:

  • Senior stakeholder management skills
  • Organisational skills, ability to own team ceremonies and set agendas for cross functional collaboration
  • Experience in performance management for marketing channels a plus (comprehension of how paid auctions work, bidding practices, optimization strategies)
  • Understanding of the Paid App landscape, with IOS app acquisition experience a plus
  • Effective communication, strong verbal and written skills
  • Creative mindset, with a keen interest in paid marketing trends
  • Technical literate, eg scoping Meta technical partner backlog, writing briefs for Prod Eng/BAR/Data Science partners. Fast learner and open to leaning into technical aspects of role
  • Ability to establish insight from raw data sets, track record of making data-driven decisions
  • Data Visualization skills, creation of Tableau dashboards
  • Strong excel skills, experience in the production of financial proposals and media plans
