Job Description#LI-EH1Do you want to play a key role in developing new product innovations and go-to-market strategies for our cool franchise LEGO® Speed Champions that is fueled for growth, and contribute towards our ambitious goals?Here is your opportunity to be part of bringing the joy of LEGO® play to many more kids and adults around the globe!Core ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Brand Experience orchestration:As a part of the Global LEGO® Speed Champions team, the Senior Marketing Manager will together with the Project Lead and Creative lead play a huge role in supporting the Head of Product and Marketing Lead in shaping the portfolio and marketing strategy for coming years.Support in driving collaboration and clear communication with all functional partners from planning through execution, and with Key Market partnersPortfolio Strategy & Management:Participate in setting, developing, and managing a profitable product portfolio strategy for the older kids and adult segment; ensuring a global appeal and market viabilityLead the sell-in process and oversee product assortment strategy, using insights and market feedback to drive portfolio successDrive the development of campaign and communication toolbox in accordance to strategy, priority etc.Business Leadership & Performance Optimization:Be the business case owner and monitor business performance and industry trends, proactively proposing strategic actions in shaping the product- and marketing development to stay competitiveCollaborate on robust plans, engage with markets to drive performance, and lead initiatives to improve the business model and global footprintThe role is fixed term maternity cover, located at our headquarters in Billund (DK).Play your part in our team succeedingThe Global Marketing department develops and manages the global portfolio of concepts and products – short, medium and long term – and are responsible for developing a portfolio which can deliver on the consumer sales and profitability objectives of the LEGO Group.We are responsible for identifying conceptual opportunities based on the overall marketing objectives and strategies and for developing these opportunities into strong product and marketing concepts for the global market. This includes the development of packaging and campaign material as well.Together with the wider marketing team you will be part of reaching more kids across the world. Inspiring and developing the builders of tomorrow is the mission of The LEGO Group.What we are looking forSolid marketing experience – preferably in a global or regional role where you have developed a strong commercial understanding and with a proven track record of communication- & product developmentExperience working with IP partners is an advantageAbility to work well both independently and as part of a dynamic, cross-functional & international teamResults-oriented with experience in decision making, analytics, time management, and marketing innovation skillsConsumer-centric approach with curiosity to try new things and evaluate business potential, turning findings into actionPhenomenal communication skills and an effective relationship-builder and negotiator who has demonstrated strong examples of collaboration and followership within a diverse group of team members and partners across multiple business areas, geographies and agency partners
