Reporting into the Head of Student Recruitment, this is a newly created role which will primarily focus on leading research into student recruitment trends across key markets to provide valuable insights to guide both operational and strategic decisions at UCL. You’ll analyse student motivations for studying abroad and in home markets, identify trends impacting UCL’s position, and deliver recommendations to enhance recruitment and admissions strategies. By understanding nuanced preferences for different programmes, you’ll support the development of tailored recruitment plans to help UCL attract the best students from around the world.About youWe are seeking a candidate with proven experience in creating research strategies and employing a variety of research methods. You should have extensive expertise in designing questionnaires, conducting analyses, and compiling reports, along with the ability to interpret data in real-world business contexts. Strong quantitative skills, particularly in market sizing and segmentation, are essential.The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, with a keen interest in higher education and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, both in writing and verbally, are key to success in this role.
