The position
As a Senior Manager in our Technical Production Support department, you will set the direction for Metrology & Calibration and spare part handling across PS API. You will lead a team and be directly involved in daily operations, including audits, shutdowns, spare parts management, timely delivery, and deviation handling.
-Department Leadership: Lead a department focused on metrology and calibration, managing both leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
-Compliance & Quality: Handle inspections, audits and ensure compliance with quality standards (cGMP).
-Operations Management: Spare parts management, timely delivery of spare parts, calibrations, timely metrology training, deviation handling and ensuring shop floor attendance.
-Continuous Improvement: Engage in systemic problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Stakeholder Collaboration: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, interacting with process group activities within Metrology and Maintenance, and supporting customer requests with high quality.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead and inspire your team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. You will have a significant impact on the success of our production facilities, ensuring the reliable supply of spare parts and calibration services.
Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
-An academic background in manufacturing, pharma or engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
-Proven leadership experience, including line management, ideally in a manufacturing or technical environment.
-Experience in environments with a strong cGMP focus is important, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries.
-Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external vendors.
-Proficiency in English is required; Danish is advantageous.

You work independently and proactively, identifying necessary initiatives to support production reliably. You motivate and engage employees and stakeholders, demonstrating persistence and respect. About the department
Technical Production Support (TPS) at Novo Nordisk is a crucial function within the API Business Support. It involves various activities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of production processes. Some key aspects include:
-Warehouse and Inventory Management: TPS handles warehouse capacity constraints and inventory control, ensuring that storage and manning are fit for future needs and support automated processes
-Metrology and Calibration: TPS is involved in metrology and calibration activities, train calibration technicians across API, proactively participating in projects and seeking innovative technologies to improve processes
-Training and Quality Support: TPS provides training resources, Quality & GMP support to improve robustness within API Business Support. This includes managing GMP-regulated work and ensuring compliance with industry standards
