To support this journey, we are seeking a Senior Manager to lead one–two software development teams — and help fulfill our purpose: securing people through advanced technology.Your role in our teamWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in modern software development to lead one or two of our software teams delivering software within the defense domain. You will be responsible for people leadership, team performance, and delivery execution. You will play a key role in ensuring the team’s practices, way of working, and quality align with our product and platform goals.You will lead one or two cross-functional team(s) of skilled system engineers, software engineers, and testers, creating an environment where craftsmanship, continuous learning, and delivery excellence thrive. Your focus will be on developing people, building strong agile teams, and driving the implementation of robust and modern software practices.How you will make a meaningful contributionYour key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage one to two agile software development teams (10–20 people total), supporting their growth, engagement, and delivery performance
  • Foster an agile, collaborative team culture rooted in accountability, psychological safety, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure that your teams are equipped with the right skills and competencies to meet current and future business needs
  • Own team deliveries, working with Project Managers and Architects to align on priorities, estimations, and milestones
  • Actively identify and resolve impediments or risks that impact your teams’ ability to deliver
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives — from ways of working to development and testing practices
  • Participate in capacity planning and ensure your teams’ contributions align with the broader project portfolio roadmap
  • Join the department and R&D leadership teams, where we collaborate, support, and challenge each other to deliver on our collective goals

Bring your world-class expertise into playYou are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.

  • You have a relevant academic background in software engineering, computer science, or similar — or equivalent industry experience
  • Technical expertise:
  • Strong understanding of modern software development practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and scalable architecture
  • Familiarity with modern programming languages, frameworks, and toolchains
  • Agile mindset & leadership:
  • Experience leading agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
  • Ability to create clarity, energize teams, and facilitate feedback-driven improvement
  • Delivery focus:
  • Skilled in balancing scope, time, and quality while keeping stakeholders aligned
  • Hands-on experience with backlog management, metrics, and iterative planning
  • Problem-solving & communication:
  • Capable of navigating ambiguity and resolving complex challenges
  • Strong communicator who can build trust and alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Process optimization:
  • A passion for evolving how software is developed and delivered to boost team velocity and product quality
  • Stakeholder engagement:
  • Able to clearly communicate status, risks, and needs to senior stakeholders in a timely manner
