JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Manager Production is responsible for managing the production process of all product categories divided into the various M/W collections. This role

 is responsible for all the process, starting from the technical verification and the various critical style issues assigned to production, both Made in IT and EU; where technically and numerically these styles can be produced in compliance with CM costs set in the price list and BBY quality requirements.

He has to guarantee on time deliveries based on the floorset requested by the Merch.

The Senior Manager Production must maintain continuous collaboration with Subcontractors and Supporting facilities, booking and guaranteeing seasonal production slots.

Other responsibilities:

-Continue scouting for new production factories, always aligned with the quality standard, cost and CR compliance.
-Follow the costs development, from the prototyping, sampling and production phases with the goal to respect the required targets while maintaining and seeking improvement for the correct margins.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Production management tasks while maintaining continuous collaboration with Subcontractors
-Development of production links with external departments, especially with the central Sourcing team based in UK
-Technical assistance to external departments during all the process starting from development, planning, collection management and production phases.
-Coordination of the production offices in relation to production launches, maintaining the timing set during the planning phase.
-Processing price lists from the prototype phase to production in compliance with company margins
-Cost negotiations from sampling phase but above all in the production phase with the relevant Subcontractors.
-Manage production and cutting teams efficiency through monitoring workload and priorities.

PERSONAL PROFILE
-High technical knowledge for all the production phases consolidated over many years in the luxury fashion industries.
-Strong ability and flexibility in managing seasonal peak moments.
-Ability to relate to people at various levels operating in production factories both in IT and EU.
-Negotiation skills balancing the various phases of collection development.
-Excellent ability in organization and problem solving.
-Ability to manage critical phases, planning, multitasking and working under pressure.
-Familiarity with the main production planning tools, developed in previous experiences. Mandatory the knowledge of Excel
-Fluency in English
