The Position
As a Senior Manager, Pharmacovigilance, you will lead pharmacovigilance strategy and activities across Middle East, Central Asia& Africa. You will provide strategic leadership and expert advice on matters related to pharmacovigilance to the Leadership teams and Affiliates.

Your other responsibilities will be:

-Drive pharmacovigilance audit and inspection readiness by preparing countries for upcoming audits and Health Authority Inspections. Represent Novo Nordisk within pharmaceutical associations and Health Authorities.
-Lead the Business Area Pharmacovigilance forums, internal trainings, and educational initiatives to heighten awareness and shared responsibility for patient safety by all employees
-Act as the strategic lead & coordinator for the Pharmacovigilance On Track (PVOT) Safety Case Handling Centre of Excellence.
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate Patient Safety activities and initiatives and set up the annual strategy for the region.
-Lead and manage outsourced Pharmacovigilance team responsible for logging of cases in Business Areas Middle East, Central Asia& Africa and ensure process optimization and audit readiness
-Surveillance of Pharmacovigilance regulatory environment at respective regional level
 

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following:

-Master or BSc in pharmaceutical/medical/chemistry or life science
-3+ years experience in Pharmacovigilance within multinational pharmaceutical industry;  multinational experience
-Managerial experience – people management experience is an advantage.
-Knowledge of Middle East, Africa PV regulatory environment is an advantage.
-Based in Istanbul, Turkey
-Fluent English
-Strong strategic thinking skills.
-Ability to prepare for and manage PV audits and inspections.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
