We are looking for an outstanding Lead Strategic Partnerships Manager to establish, maintain and grow partnerships with some of the world’s leading brands. This position reports directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, EMEA who is based in Berlin.For this role…You will:

  • Be directly responsible for generating hundreds of millions of incremental GMV in the next three years as we become the market leader in a $375bn+ industry by growing the EMEA business 10X+.
  • Execute the 3-year partnership strategy for the EMEA that facilitates the channels’ growth to achieve FY 2026 market share targets in strategic verticals in and around travel that achieve company and channel goals.
  • Build a diverse, scalable and profitable partnership portfolio with market-leading, scale-up, and start-up companies in and around travel by (a) identifying ideal strategic partners that match the partners’ business needs with GetYourGuide’s partnership UVP (b) prospecting, outreach, sales, negotiation and execution of partnership agreements (c) oversight of the onboarding phases of the partnership and achievement of production milestones (d) ongoing management of the partnership to stimulate short, medium and long-term growth targets.
  • Work closely with Legal, FP&A, Partner Tech, Supply, Accounting, Product, and Brand and Growth Marketing Teams to build feasible partnership structures, ensure compliance of contractual terms and achievement of partnership milestones, and maximize the impact of the GetYourGuide brand.
  • Regularly communicate strategies, impact, learnings, and next steps to GetYourGuide leadership via weekly, monthly, and quarterly business updates.

Who you are

  • 4+ years experience working in sales, key account management, or business development functions at high-growth marketplace, SaaS, or e-commerce companies
  • Connected, have a good network and reputation
  • Proficient and have an understanding of affiliate marketing
  • Good business acumen and commercial instincts, specifically in contract negotiation and relationship management
  • An understanding of online marketplace dynamics, with demonstrated success in driving growth, tangible results, and KPI improvements
  • Entrepreneurial attitude to win despite all challenges, thriving in a fast-paced environment, growth mindset, and learners attitude
  • Highly collaborative, outstanding communication, negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills with a strong win-win mentality and natural ability to build relationships
  • Data-driven, results-oriented, and accurate
  • Excited to spend up to 30% of your time traveling
  • Model GetYourGuide’s in-person first value and work from the office 3+ days per week
