Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.Your role in our teamWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Manager for Multi Domain Systems (MDS) Lystrup with strong leadership skills to lead a team of System Engineers and Software Developers within Public Safety and C4 based defense systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the team continued growth and development whereby you must be a highly skilled people manager with a big leadership gen. Your ability to motivate teams and having a business mindset will be challenged by introducing a common way of working across MDS, which demand proactive stakeholder management and communication skills on top.
You will head a team – C4 and Visualization – consisting of 20+ dedicated colleagues, developing and maintaining different products in the area.How you will make a meaningful contributionYour key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage your team, providing direction, support, and mentorship throughout all stages of product development
  • Securing the right competencies to be developed in the team to support our business and future needs
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively resolving challenges to keep projects on track and within scope
  • Drive a strategic initiative – common way of working across MDS – together with other colleagues to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality throughout the entire development phase and enable team-based competence build-up
  • You will be part of the leadership team in MDS Lystrup where we work together to reach our goals, by sparring, mentoring, and challenging each other

Bring your world class expertise into playYou are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.

  • You have a relevant academic education in engineering or related technical discipline – or equivalent work experience within the engineering field.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • You understand systems engineering and software development principles, design methodologies, prototyping, and testing of systems
  • You have successfully implemented agile ways of working as a manager – scrum and/or SAFE must not be new words for you
  • Leadership skills.
  • You must be a “born” people manager, proven records in growing a team in competencies, employees, diversity and complexity
