Senior Manager, Global Value & Patient Access, Pipeline & Business Development

Your new role

This role will be a key resource in the Global Value & Patient Access team. It is a great chance to work alongside dedicated colleagues who support the development of innovative treatments that improve the lives of people living with brain diseases.  Your primary responsibility will be to lead the market access & pricing strategy and initiatives for pipeline assets and to support business development evaluations with pricing and access assessments.

The role requires the ability to communicate strategically, demonstrate enterprise leadership and embrace a mindset of asset over function.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership & Patient Access Strategy Development:

-Accountability for defining and continuously refining the asset´s market access & pricing strategy, ensuring optimized positioning and business case.
-Ensure pivotal trials and additional evidence generation reflect payer needs and support differentiation.
-Engage early with KEEs (Key External Experts) such as KOLs, PAGs and payers to advocate and shape evidence generation for payer decision-making.
-Prepare for Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) and conduct early scientific advice to secure successful readiness.
-Develop the Payer Value Proposition and Key Value Messages aligned with scientific and commercial communication.
-As a core GPT (Global Product Team) member, ensure alignment on strategic patient access objectives & tactics and actively contribute to supporting overall asset decisions.  You will lead sub-teams and task forces composed of cross-functional and affiliate colleagues.
-Prepare and support the facilitation of strategic discussions in collaboration with relevant functions on senior and executive leadership level with focus on decision quality.
-Engage actively with key Affiliates globally to further shape the pricing and access strategy and ensure local evidence needs are accounted for.

Global Value & Patient Access is part of Global Commercial and Corporate Strategy, a key function that bridges R&D and Commercial Operations

You will report to the Senior Director and Head of Global Value & Patient Access, Pipeline & Business Development.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark (DK).

Professional:

-Ability to synthesize internal and external insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

Education:

-Advanced degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Experience:

style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px” type=”disc”-
-10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
-Market access experience at a global level, including the US, EU, Japan and China is required.
-Pricing experience.
-Experience with rare diseases is a clear advantage.
-Proven experience driving strategic initiatives in a global, cross-functional environment.
