For the past 20 years our Hillerød API facility has been on a journey of producing the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) used for the treatment of haemophilia patients around the world and during the recent years we have upgraded the facility to multiproduct status to launch new products to the market. We are now looking for a new Senior Manager to continue this journey with us and help us in taking our production site to the next level.
The position
As a Senior Manager in our Hillerød API facility you hold the overall responsibility of maintaining efficient and safe delivery of our products, leading through leaders and adhering to quality, safety and delivery metrics of the production unit.
In a highly regulated manufacturing environment, you will further ensure compliance with good manufacturing practice (GMP), safety and quality standards while continuously developing our people and organisation to being ready for an exciting future. Together with your leadership peers, your attention will be focused on delivering on production targets, developing the people, processes and systems. You will be part of the PS-API M4 (Product Supply- API) organization and work closely with sister departments in the area.
You will be heading up a large department consisting of academics, operators and leaders.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:

-A Bachelor or Master’s degree within Engineering, Business Administration or another relevant field.
-Strong managerial/leadership experience e.g., solid associate manager background or already in a Senior Manager position.
-Experience from a highly regulated manufacturing environment, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry. Experience from API facilities is an advantage.
-A technical understanding of manufacturing processes and process optimization e.g., LEAN, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, systematic problem solving.
-Full professional proficiency in English, and ability to communicate in Danish or a willingness to learn Danish.
You create strong followship around your visions and ideas, and act as role model while installing a data-based culture and an inspiring guiding behaviour to empower your organisation. You have curious mindset to learn and understand the processes and technicalities of your department.
About the Department
PS-API M4 is an area in Novo Nordisk that will be at the centre of many new initiatives in the coming years. We manufacture a range of innovative products for our patients living with diabetes, haemophilia, hormonal imbalances and other impactful chronical diseases.
PS-API M4 is responsible for all API manufacturing in Denmark across our sites in Hillerød, Kalundborg and Gentofte. Our Hillerød facility is responsible for producing the active ingredient of one registered product and a range of new products focusing on the rare disease segment.
