Senior Manager Controlling – Group Functions in Ingelheim, Germany

Tasks & responsibilities

• As Senior Manager within Group Functions (GF) Controlling, you will be working on all financial and controlling topics related to GFE (Primary cost, Investments, specific Business related cost), continuously thriving to optimize them.

• You will act as Business Partner for the GFE (Global Facilities and Engineering) Leadership team and support in all Controlling related topics like Planning, Reporting and Financial analysis as well as support your Business Partner in all projects related financial aspects.

• With your expertise, you will be the central point of contact for the Country/ROPU GFE Controlling organization to support in the Planning and Reporting process and the implementation of our guidances.

• You will generate transparent financial information, analyze and comment all cost deviations to all relevant planning cycles.

• You will implement and drive the financial processes, including Target setting and analyses to support the Target achievements. You are able to lead and present the relevant financial data during the GFE Budget days.

• You are motivated to continuously improve the financial processes, timelines and reporting tools.

• Lastly, you will be responsible to drive projects for GF/GFE Controlling as defined by the Head of GF.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or Diploma with major focus on Business Administration and/or Economics

• Several years of relevant work experience in key finance positions paired with a solid Finance and Controlling background

• Outstanding project management skills with the ability to understand complex business issues by identifying main deviation drivers in large amounts of data

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with very good technical skills in systems and tools, such as MS Excel, PPT and financial applications (e.g. SAP, AfO, Finance Dashboards)

• Excellent communication skills in English (across countries and cultures and levels of hierarchy)
