This client creates innovative and cutting-edge solutions with a focus on power solutions for multiple markets. They are searching for an Analog Design Manager to lead the team in the development of analog and mixed-signal ICs.
Key tasks:
* Direct and supervise daily activities, strategy and annual goals for the Design and project team.
* Overall responsibility for the design & development of ICs. Provide guidance and direction, contributing to innovative analog circuit design and driving the team to be creative in their problem solving and design
* Manage and drive entire product lifecycle, from product definition to product release
* Receive and analyze assignments from the Department Manager and determine how to use resources based on established policies and procedures.
* Responsible for recruiting new hires, performance evaluations and team development
* Mentor and training of analog Design Engineers.
Ideal background:
* MSEE / PhD or equivalent
* 8 – 12 years of analog IC Design experience.
* Power IC expertise preferred.
* Fully understands industry concepts and practices. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods, modules and/or techniques throughout the design process.
* Prior experience in successfully managing IC Design Engineers / teams strongly preferred.
* Must have prior experience in bringing analog products through entire product development cycle, from product definition through product release
* Ability to lead and direct activities of senior and principle level Engineers
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Fluent English
