The Role
Are you a behavioural scientist looking to make a real-world impact? Kingston Business School is seeking a passionate and dedicated academic to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in a supportive and collaborative environment, and to make a significant impact on future of behavioural science. As a member of our faculty, you will have access to state-of-the-art resources and support, including a state-of-the-art behavioural science research lab, specialist behavioural science software, as well as access to databases and other research tools.
Our business school is dedicated to interdisciplinary research and knowledge exchange, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with researchers from a variety of fields. We also strongly encourage our faculty to engage with industry and policymakers, and to work on projects that have real-world impact.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor the next generation of business leaders and researchers, by teaching courses and workshops in your area of expertise.
The Person
We are looking for a candidate with a Ph.D. in behavioural science or a related field, a strong record of research productivity, and a passion for making a difference. Your focus will be on understanding and applying the root causes of human behaviours in applied settings, bringing an evidence-based approach to the work of a Business School.
Your values will mean you see success as a result of working within a team, as well as through collaborating with the world outside of academia. You will be proactive and be prepared to experiment and challenge yourself and others, and you will be open to and motivated by working in partnership with students, clients, and the local community. If you haven’t already achieved the relevant level of UKPSF recognition, we’ll need you to do so before the end of your probation period.

The Faculty

This is a full-time, permanent position with a starting salary of £47,004 per annum.
