As a key player in our organisation, you will embark on an exciting journey where you get to work closely with customers, understand their unique challenges, and provide them with cutting-edge technical solutions and services focusing around Applications, Data, DC and workload Migrations, as well as AI.

You will understand the value proposition of the Applications, Data and AI Practice and be able to bring that to life for the customers with a winning solution proposition.

Your role as a Client Technical Solutioner is pivotal in developing solutions for our cutting-edge services and offerings for the Applications, Data and AI Practice. Within this role, you will be at the forefront of crafting tailored solutions and cost cases for both simple and complex, long-term opportunities, demonstrating we meet our customers’ requirements while helping them overcome their business challenges. The solutions which you will create will help customers modernise their infrastructure and migrate them to Cloud, help them modernise, democratise and transform their data whilst helping them with their data strategy,. You will also help by producing solutions which enable them transform and migrate their application estate.

You will play an essential role in contract negotiations, up to the point of signature, and facilitate a smooth engagement hand-over process.

As the primary source of engagement management and solution design within your technical domain, you will compile, refine, and take ownership of final solution documents. Your technical expertise will shine through as you present these documents in a professional and concise manner, showcasing your mastery of the subject matter. Required Skills and Experience

  • Expertise with IT organizational models, IT governance, management and outsourcing.

  • Proven ability to design and build technical solutions based on customer requirements including understanding customer needs, analyzing complex problems, and proposing effective and scalable solutions.

  • Have strong technical skills in workload migration and data migration.

  • Proven track record in technical sales in the area of DC services (particularly DC migration but also managed server and storage services, DC virtualisation etc).

  • In-depth understanding of various IT domains such as infrastructure management, cloud computing, workload migration, networking, and enterprise systems.

  • Excellent customer and presentation skills.

  • High level knowledge of major server and storage architectures (hardware, software and operating systems).

  • Proven ability of pre-sales experience including creation of cost models, SOWs, response to RFI/RFP etc.

  • Experience of DC architecture design and implementation.

  • Experience of Cloud architecture design, implementation, and Cloud fundamentals.

  • Delivering against challenging time frames either alone, or as part of a team.

  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills working with customers at the Business/IT Director/LOB level.

  • Ability to leverage the full breadth of Kyndryl and Partner’s services, labour, assets, and software products to develop complex, multi-year solutions and optimized cost cases that meet client requirements and needs considering the customers’ base case and Kyndryl’s profitability.

  • Soft skills to enable ability to work well in conjunction with the larger pursuit team (Sales, Technical Solution Managers, HR, Legal, Delivery, Pricing, Risk, etc) and deliver a winning team solution.

  • Hyperscaler Certifications.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a consulting or advisory role, where you have provided strategic guidance and solutions to customers, can be beneficial.

  • Experience in Data migration and Data modernisation.

  • Experience in Application modernisation.

  • Knowledge of designing architectures for cloud environments, hybrid infrastructure, and integrating diverse systems

  • Experience in supporting sales efforts by collaborating with the sales team, preparing sales materials, participating in customer presentations, and contributing to proposal development
