ROLE

The EMEA Services Delivery function delivers professional and managed services to Insight’s clients across a broad range of technology and software offerings, delivers a scaled and consistent client experience, and employs methodologies through the following centres of excellence; 

-The Customer Operations team provides high quality customer support across assigned regions from multiple delivery centres.  

-The Engineering team provides automated and scripted innovative migration and implementation activities in order to achieve maximum efficiency, consistency, and performance. 

-The Licence Consulting team provides expertise in optimisation and compliance services to clients on-premises or in the Cloud whilst maintaining cost efficiencies and savings. 

-The Service Design & Delivery team, and each of its subfunctions, leads on designing client solutions in partnership with Insight’s clients before planning and executing end -to-end engagements. 

-The Digital Innovation team explores and drives first-of-type innovations around technology including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Connected Sensors, and Robotics. 

-The Technology Solutions Group, through technology and business practice leadership, takes responsibility for the overall service strategy, and subsequent solution, and services development by a team of solution developers, product designers, and agile leaders. TSG also governs the repeatable processes, tools, and automation underpinning Insight’s service delivery. 

Complementing each of the centres of excellence is the Service Delivery Management team, located in every country, which manages the client experience and ensures a truly client -centric approach across EMEA, and also the Services Operations & Transformation team which drives operational excellence and business improvements across all areas within the Services Delivery function. 

  

The Senior LCS Consultant resides within the Licence Consulting Services area of the EMEA Services Delivery function and may also be a Player Manager. 

  

The Senior LCS Consultant is responsible for providing billable consultancy support to Insight’s key strategic clients, acting as a key resource for managed services across the software lifecycle to deliver a wide variety of licensing solutions. 

 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

-Own and oversee the delivery of the defined LCS solution. 

-Be accountable for ensuring defined outcomes are met; utilising resources and methodologies provided by the central services organisation. 

-Engage and develop mutually beneficial working relationships with local account teams to build an understanding of the sales requirements and to help drive the delivery of LCS solutions. 

-Oversee the analysis and processing of client data to perform licensing reconciliation services, data quality assessments, and review licensing agreements and usage rights. 

-Provide technical implementation, configuration, and tool analysis services to key clients for software asset management, compliance, and optimisation solutions. 

-Lead teammates to ensure the efficient delivery of LCS to clients and drive the development of differentiated intellectual property. 

-Act as a technical presales subject matter expert to sales teammates. 

-Be responsible for the ensuring quality of the delivery of the practice to the client as a delivery consultant. 

-Utilise generated qualified opportunities from the sales teams, as well as generating net new opportunities, and engage with the client as a presales consultant to sell Insight’s LCS offerings. 

-May be required to teach, train, coach, and mentor teammates; promoting teammate satisfaction and enabling career progression 

In addition, the Senior LCS Consultant may be responsible for managing a team of no more than 5 professionals and will be required to: 

-Manage and motivate the team, to promote teammate satisfaction through mentoring, development, and career planning; creating a high performing team with a strong succession benchmark, enabling career progression. 

-Manage the day-to-day operation of the LCS consulting services business, manage profitable growth, and ensure a high utilisation of the team. 

-Ensure the team hold the right competencies and knowledge to achieve and maintain vendor certifications, whilst balancing utilisation requirements. 

-Be responsible for articulating and aligning the functional strategy in line with that of the business by providing enough tools and resources to teammates to ensure the optimum delivery of the strategy against Insight’s goals.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE 

-Demonstrates previous experience of working within an innovative IT solution and or License Consulting background  

-High level of verbal and written English & Swedish

-Ability to provide effective leadership, build positive team spirit and inspire, motivate, and support teammates  

-Demonstrates working knowledge of multiple SAM tool (e.g., Flexera, SNOW or Aspera)  

-Demonstrates IT and Licensing knowledge for multiple software publishers  

-Demonstrates strong business acumen and experience of translating business requirements to IT strategies  

-Ability to interpret multiple data sets and summarise key points, highlighting methods used, expectations, issues, trends, observations, and recommendations 

-Ability to execute proofs of concepts and product demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders at a senior level 

-Experience of implementing the technical aspects of software asset management tools 

-Ability to win client confidence, deliver client demonstrations at a senior level with professional authority and ease 

-A team player who can work successfully within a diverse team in a mutually supportive way, including with technical and sales teammates in multiple/virtual locations 

 

LOCATION

The position is based in Sweden, main offices are located in Stockholm. Possibility for hybrid working, remote with occasional visits to the office and client sites.
