You will work in an inspiring team with a positive spirit, agile ways of working, and a leader closely cooperating on a daily basis – enabling you to perform.Senior Professional Information Security – SIEM Tech and AnalystThis employee will be a part of the technical effort of delivering the Security Monitoring service being delivered from Denmark, in support of the security services sold to customers in the public and private sector market. In this capacity he will actively work in a dedicated Danish Security Monitoring SOC Level 2 Team, cooperating with members of the Danish organization regarding onboarding new customers and running the Security Monitoring service.

• Configuring and maintaining the SIEM system(-s) is a natural part of the work.
• Along with technical implementation on SIEM platform(-s) of new customers, this Security Analyst will be handling L2 analytical tasks, using the tools and means being a part of the implementation of the operating model.
• Knowledge of MS Sentinel and Micro Focus ArcSight is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
• Primarily working hours are Monday-Friday during daytime. L1 has eyes on glass 24/7, and hence L2, where you will belong, is doing on-call shifts.
• The position is based in the office of DXC in Valby, Denmark, but will primarily be handled via virtual working

Duties And Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, operate and maintain the on prem and cloud based SIEM platforms and ensure their health.
• Responsible for analyzing and processing security threats to identify the risk and impact for our customers, by carrying out in-depth analysis of the potential threats.
• Examine the nature of threats that can pose a risk to our valued customers.
• Work with different SIEM systems and act as point of contact for colleagues from other DXC teams .
• Understand and react on cyber threat information feeds to support our customers to protect their data and businesses.
• On-call shifts
• Document your findings and present it to the DXC or customer security teams.

QualificationsEducation and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required, preferably in computer science, engineering or related area of study
• 3+ years’ experience in relevant technologies, products and customer environments.

Knowledge And Skills Required

• Good Cyber and IT security knowledge
• Proficient understanding of Cyber and IT security risks, threats and prevention measures
• Good security system analysis skills
• Proficient understanding of security standards and best practices
• Good understanding of networking and network security
• Good knowledge about various operating systems
• Good understanding of network monitoring and protocols
• Professional knowledge in one or more SIEM technologies like ArcSight, MS Sentinel, Splunk etc.
• Good knowledge about different networking tools like Wireshark, Snort, Nmap, etc.
• Able to obtain Danish security clearance
• Language skills: Fluent Danish and professional English
