Your new role
 

As Senior Information Security Advisor, you’ll be the driving force behind Novo Nordisk’s information security framework, ensuring our security practices evolve with emerging threats while staying aligned with our mission to serve patients globally. This is a strategic role where your expertise will directly influence how we safeguard critical healthcare data and maintain trust across our organization.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

-Maintaining and updating the information security framework to ensure it covers relevant risks, controls, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), keeping pace with evolving security needs and industry best practices

-Evaluating and updating guidelines, templates, and processes while assessing the need for new documentation to align with organizational objectives and compliance standards
 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Collaborating with policy owners across departments to integrate the information security framework seamlessly throughout the organization

-Contributing to risk management process enhancement, including risk reporting and integrated IT risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance

-Assessing and incorporating relevant regulatory requirements within the information security framework to maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards

-Engaging with stakeholders and Lines of Business through pragmatic, risk-based security discussions that drive adoption of security best practices.

Your skills & qualifications
 

We’re looking for an experienced information security professional who combines technical expertise with strategic thinking and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

You’ll bring:

-MSc/BSc degree (or similar) with 
10
+ years of experience within Information Security, IT Security, IT Systems, or IT Infrastructure
 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Proven track record of defining, leading, and executing information security strategies with demonstrated deliverables that provide clear business value to management and stakeholders
 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Experience developing and implementing comprehensive information security frameworks based on a strategic, risk-based approach

-Expertise in aligning information security initiatives with business objectives and facilitating adoption of security best practices across all organizational levels

-Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders through pragmatic, risk-based security discussions

-High degree of independence, integrity, and decisiveness when dealing with complex security issues

-Ability to balance multiple concurrent tasks, work under pressure, and deliver high-quality output within agreed deadlines while maintaining a strong customer focus and business understanding.
