More information about our work can be found at .Job DescriptionSGS Brightsight is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hardware Security Expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware design, vulnerability assessment, and security. This role requires deep expertise in secure elements, system-on-chips (SoCs), and embedded systems.Main Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Design Reviews: Conduct comprehensive reviews of secure elements, SoCs, cryptographic IPs, and soft IPs to ensure security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Vulnerability Analysis: Perform in-depth vulnerability analysis to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Test Plan Design: Design and implement detailed test plans for evaluating the security of hardware components.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead in security evaluations, guiding and mentoring the evaluation team.
  • Consultancy Services: Provide pre-evaluation consultancy services to help clients prepare for formal security assessments.
  • Continuous Innovation: Engage in research and development to advance security methodologies, staying ahead of emerging threats and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hardware security engineering or a related domain.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, secure elements, and SoC architectures.
  • Expertise in cryptographic algorithms and hardware security mechanisms.
  • Proven experience in vulnerability analysis and test plan design.
  • Strong knowledge about attack methods such as physical attacks, fault injection or side-channel.
  • Experience with formal security evaluation processes (e.g., Common Criteria, EMVCo), as an evaluator, consultant or developer.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
