This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute significantly to our financial operations and reporting processes.Responsibilities
- Drive the timely completion of monthly financial closing activities
- Conduct in-depth balance sheet analyses and reconciliations
- Support financial statement preparation and reporting
- Maintain General Ledger master data and ensure data integrity
- Prepare VAT declarations in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reports
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making
QualificationsQualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in General Ledger/Record to Report (experience with US GAAP preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance / ACCA/ SKWP courses
- Proficient in English; German language skills are advantageous
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP system will be an asset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive initiatives
- Process-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
