Job description
For our Client, an international FMCG company, we are looking for candidates for the position of Senior GL Accountant with French.Responsibilities:
- perform GL processes and activities, including: month closing activites, closing the general ledger, posting adjusting journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, reviews and approvals, financial and external reporting,
- prepare the financial statements and statistical reporting for local requirements,
- intercompany activities,
- ensure all close activities are complete, signed off on, and books are closed per the established close calendar,
- support internal and external audit,
- prepares data for Tax audits,
- complete ad-hoc projects and reports and research management questions and resolve issues.
Requirements:
- at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position,
- master’s Degree with an accounting or finance,
- strong accounting and finance analysis skills,
- very good knowledge of English and French (min. B2),
- experience in general accounting or reporting area,
- knowledge of SAP would be an asset,
- preferred: ongoing ACCA, CMA or related qualification,
- good knowledge of MS Office (Excel),
- strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
