Your Role

As a (Senior) Front-End Software Engineer, you will:

• Build, maintain, and enhance React components and applications owned by your team throughout their lifecycle.
• Take ownership and ensure best practices in design, accessibility, performance, and security. Participate in code reviews to make these principles first-class citizens in every development effort.
• Optimize and enhance the performance and user experience of our OpenPipeline app.
• Apply your expertise in front-end development to solve complex challenges and drive innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Linz and Europe to solve problems and make impactful decisions.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment by mentoring and guiding team members.

What will help you succeed

We are looking for someone with:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in front-end software engineering.
• Experience in modern front-end development, especially with React, TypeScript, and related tooling.
• Proficiency in core web technologies like HTML and CSS.
• Focus on clean architecture, performance, and usability; experience with Playwright and Jest is a big plus
• A strong UX/design affinity and understanding, with bonus points for experience working closely with designers.
• A passion for mentoring and supporting other engineers, with excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
