Senior Front-end Engineer – React (mf/x)

Your role at Dynatrace

Our Strato Design System teams are responsible for building and maintaining a modern, powerful and easy to use Design System including a large React component library used by all of our Platform application. We’re striving to enable our external and internal Developers to build sophisticated apps on our platform.

Your Job Role:

• Your job as a Frontend Software Engineer is to build, maintain, and enhance React components for our Design System
• Support Platform developers in integrating the Design System into their apps
• Proactively participate in code reviews
• Optimize and enhance the performance and user experience of our Design System components
• Apply your know-how of frontend development
• Enjoy collaboration in an Agile way with your team in Linz and international teams across Europe

What will help you succeed

• Technical study in Computer Science or a similar field
• Strong experience in Software Engineering, developing web-based software using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Fundamental knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript
• Proficient with core web technologies like HTML and CSS
• Experience in Frontend Frameworks, especially React
• Strong focus on software quality, performance, and clean architecture
• Interest in Design Systems and component libraries
• Proficient in writing automated tests; knowledge of Jest and Playwright is a plus
• UX/Design affinity and understanding are a big plus
• Team player with a proactive approach and high sensibility for quality
