Job Title: Senior FPGA Design Consultant (Remote – 12-Month Contract)

Location: 100% Remote (Initial equipment pickup within 1 week if required)
Contract Length: 12 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Consultant to support a project focused on migrating and optimizing existing ASIC code for FPGA platforms. The role will involve detailed work around timing closure, constraint handling, and mapping complex logic to FPGA architectures. The consultant will be expected to work independently, contributing to architecture, implementation, and optimization within a fast-paced development environment.

This is a 100% remote role with a requirement for a brief ramp-up period, including equipment pickup (within one week if necessary).
Key Responsibilities:

-Migrate and optimize ASIC designs for implementation on FPGA platforms
-Handle timing closure, resource constraints, and mapping of complex RTL code
-Design and implement robust RTL architecture for high-speed, multi-clock systems
-Work with cross-functional teams to integrate DSP, ML, ADC/DAC blocks into FPGA solutions
-Ensure FPGA design closure including resource optimization and fitting complex designs into constrained devices
-Collaborate on verification and testing strategies for FPGA-based designsRequired Skills and Experience:

-10+ years of hands-on FPGA design experience
-Strong RTL design experience using VHDL and SystemVerilog
-Proven experience in timing closure, area/resource optimization, and design fitting
-Solid understanding of CDC (Clock Domain Crossing) and asynchronous design
-Proficiency with Vivado and/or Quartus FPGA development tools
-Experience working with Xilinx toolchains and hardware platforms
-Background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Machine Learning implementations on FPGA
-Experience with integrating ADC/DAC componentsNice to Have:

-Familiarity with high-speed protocols such as Ethernet, PCIe, I2C/I3C
-Previous experience with CNNs/ML models on FPGAs
