We’re hiring aSenior financial compliance & process stewardFor our COSI (Cost of Sales and Inventory) Human- and Animal Health team in Haarlem we are looking for a Financial compliance & process steward. You will have the chance to make a real impact on people’s and animal’s lives and work in a dynamic high-tech and international environment.Welcome in our teamOur Finance team leverages sophisticated financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting, and performance evaluation techniques to propel medical innovation. In this global role you will get international exposure and drive compliance and process stewardship across our COSI organizations in the Netherlands and United States. There will also be plenty of opportunity to be involved in companywide projects, where our team plays a vital role having end to end oversight on our manufacturing cost.Main responsibilities

  • Global coordinator of the financial closing process to ensure tasks are followed up timely, accurately and complete by all COSI (senior) analysts and reviewers, as well as serve as brigde between the COSI US and NL teams.
  • Establish, maintain and document a strong (SOX) control framework with processes and control procedures. Ensure an effective and efficient control framework and update where needed.
  • Owner of the overall global COSI project management portfolio, ensuring clear project deliverables and deadlines. Oversee, monitor and follow up with project managers. Provide feedback to leadership.
  • Owner of the COSI metrics dashboard which should be controlled, analyzed and reported out to stakeholders.
  • Define and execute on improvement opportunities, change management, process standardization and able to steer continuous improvement initiatives based on identified areas taking into account cross regional and functional requirements.
  • Develop a robust, sustainable solutioning path translating into clear action items with the correct engagement of the right stakeholders in order to implement.
  • Leading the coordination and faciliation of the internal- and external audits globally, control open requests and mitigate and close out audit observations.
  • Be the COSI compliance SME being able to bridge the gap between auditors and (senior) analysts.
  • Operate as chief of staff for COSI and support the leadership team as and where needed.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance/business/administration/economics.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Audit or Finance (preferably in an international manufacturing environment).
  • Cost accounting and SAP experience are a plus.

  • Flexible in work hours
