Description Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, the senior financial accountant will manage the reporting of financial accounts with specific emphasis on month-end reporting.

Scope of the Role

-Responsibility for the journals and general ledger to ensure timely completion of month end close process
-Provide accurate month end reports to support the month end close process
-Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts
-Manage the cash postings and maintenance of internal and external bank accounts
-Liaise closely with other finance and tax/treasury teams to ensure all transactions are executed and recorded correctly across all group companies
-Preparation of statutory financial statements and act as key player in the external audit process
-Liaise with the internal and external auditors 
-Assist in ad hoc analysis and support as required.

Experience Required

-ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum 2/3 years post qualification industry experience 
-Experience with SAP/CFIN or other large ERP system is a plus
-Detail oriented and quality focused 
-Capacity to think through problems and find solutions
-Ability to adapt to new processes with agility and enthusiasm
