The Position
The Senior Finance Partner role is a part of the finance team which drives the financial agenda at the site in Hillerød in close collaboration with the management team. 
 

 Your main tasks as a Senior Finance Partner are to:

-Drive budget process and follow-up: Facilitate the budget process to ensure resources are allocated to business priorities and all areas are pushing for stretched optimization ambitions. This requires curiosity about understanding the business to both understand needs for additional funding and where there is a need for additional actions to succeed with the budget. This also requires good stakeholder management and an ability to run a complex process with many sub-deliverables.
-Ensure insights and transparency into the cost base: To enable line of business to manage spend efficiently it is essential to have strong insights into how the budget is spent. The finance team is responsible for providing this insight to line of business through use of BI tools and strong data analysis. This requires strong analytical skills and preferably knowledge about BI tools.
-Drive the cost optimization agenda: Support management by facilitating discussions and workshops on how to optimize the cost base, bring analysis and external perspective on opportunities and help set the financial direction for the site. You can also be expected to drive various optimization initiatives. To succeed in this, you need to be able to interact with senior management and bring a consultant mind-set on how to facilitate change.
 
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:

-Financial background with a master’s degree or bachelor’s degree within Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar.
-3-5 years of experience with budgeting and reporting.
-Good understanding of financial management and controlling. Previous experience in a production industry is an advantage.
-Previous experience with budgeting, monthly reporting processes and with key reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, SAP etc.) is a requirement. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
-Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
-Proficiency in both oral and written English, and preferably also substantial Danish skills.
 
As a person, you have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You come with a high level of initiative, a strong motivation for combining Finance and business partnering to line of business, and a willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. 
You are expected to be structured and analytical and able to keep an overview, drive tasks and projects forward independently, manage your own time and deliverables, pay timely and appropriate attention to details when needed and be a team player.

About the department
Asceptic Manufacturing (AM) in Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Finance Partner to AM site Hillerød. AM represents a global part of the Novo Nordisk organisation, with factories in Denmark, China, Brazil, France, and USA. The factory is a growing organisation of around 1,200 people. This is an opportunity to join our Finance & Procurement team, which consists of 12 dedicated and social colleagues – diverse in age and backgrounds.
