About Our Client
Our client, a global leader in semiconductor technology, is seeking a talented Senior Field Application Engineer to join their team.

The Role:
As a Field Application Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers in the EMEA region, focusing on secure silicon solutions for smart cards.

Your key responsibilities will include:
– Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues related to our products.
– Technical Expertise: Share technical knowledge and expertise with customers and internal teams.
– Design-in Support: Collaborate with customers to ensure successful product integration and design-win.
– Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges faced by customers.
– Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and customer needs to drive product development.
– Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
– Strong technical background in secure silicon and smart card solutions.
– Experience with Java Card OS, MCU software, and hardware development tools.
– Knowledge of cryptography, security protocols, and certification schemes (e.g., Common Criteria, EMVCo).
– Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
– Fluency in English, with proficiency in French preferred.
