Job description

Your new responsibilities will include:

  • developing new ideas for solving technical challenges in semiconductor manufacturing as well as driving their implementation forward
  • coordination of process developments and improvements in the production of future technologies as well as assurance of quality standards
  • improving the stability, yield and reliability of our products and equipment
  • Support troubleshooting and identification of the cause of process and quality deviations
  • responsibility for plant and process approvals and support for process and technology transfers
  • identifying, analyzing and optimizing operations with respect to line flow
  • ensure active knowledge management (development, exchange and transfer) within the department and with other Infineon sites

Your Profile

You successfully meet the requirements if you:

  • have a university degree (bachelor or master) in a technical or scientific field (chemistry, physics, process engineering, materials science, electrical engineering or similar) or you are in the final phase of your graduation
  • have gained initial experience in the semiconductor industry (advantageous)
  • have a very good German and English language skills
  • are a team player with a high degree of personal responsibility and strong communication skills
  • are open minded and eager to learn and also bring along innovative ideas

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group F-G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
