RSK Biocensus part of RSK Group are an award winning CIEEM
company, are recruiting a tenacious and passionate Senior Ecologist to join
their growing UK ecology team. This role is permanent with full
time
 & part time work patterns available. This role will be
hybrid role, with flexible homeworking and client site
work.

We are looking for someone to work with clients Nationwide, commutable to either:
Helsby, Hemel, Bristol, Coventry, Leeds, East Anglia/Norwich and Glasgow. 
As
Senior Ecologist at RSK Biocensus you can expect to get
involved with the delivery of elements of field surveys, assessment, tender and report writing
and project management, on various nationwide and local projects.

Key Responsibilities 

  • A Senior Consultant is responsible for managing and overseeing medium/large projects and
    tenders from commencement to completion and close-out.
  • Displaying a commitment to the work that is produced, promoting RSK in a positive light to
    clients and competitors
  • Managing medium-sized projects, including finance, resource allocation, managing
    sub-contractors, risk and quality assurance, ensuring timely delivery and effective
    communication, and seeking and responding to client feedback
  • Completing fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys, travelling as required and working
    away from home
  • Overseeing aspects of site work and undertaking practical elements of habitat management or
    creation, under supervision
  • Assisting with the delivery of survey and research reports, to include document reviews,
    statistical analyses, licence applications, reporting, etc.

Person Specification 

  • 1st Degree in relevant discipline or Vocation qualification
  • 5 Years specific relevant experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Species specific personal licences are desirable
  • Associate membership with CIEEM.
  • Abide by CIEEM’s Code of Professional Conduct.
