Novo Nordisk is looking for a Senior Director NextGen AI Trends and Partnerships to influence and lead transformative AI initiatives that will shape the future of our organization. We are seeking a senior strategist ready to move beyond incremental change and define the next generation of AI that will directly impact our mission to defeat serious chronic diseases. The role is based in either Copenhagen (DK).

The position

With a direct report to our Chief AI Officer, you will be the primary engine for identifying, incubating, and scaling future-defining AI capabilities across Novo Nordisk. You will translate nascent technology into actionable, high-impact business models.

You will specifically:

-Assess and Analyze Trends: Assess and analyze emerging AI trends and technologies to identify groundbreaking opportunities for innovation.
-Develop Partnerships: Develop and drive sophisticated AI partnerships aligned with global organizational goals and market demands.
-Executive Influence: Present compelling, commercially focused business cases and use cases to senior leadership to secure investment in next-generation AI opportunities.
-Global Collaboration: Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to explore and implement AI solutions tailored to diverse operational environments.
-Guide and support cross-functional teams to deliver AI transformation initiatives and ensure successful project execution.
 

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced leader who operates at the intersection of deep technical insight and executive-level strategic foresight.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

-Proven experience in a matrix role from a large corporate organization. Your industry background is not necessarily from the pharmaceutical industry.
-Exceptional ability to assess and integrate emerging AI technologies to fundamentally transform business models and client interactions.
-Proven experience in fostering strategic collaborations with global partners to co-create cutting-edge AI solutions.
-A leader who has a natural ability to create followship and promotes collaboration and teamwork across diverse, global departments.
-Fluent spoken and written English.

You will report to the Chief AI Officer and join Enterprise AI, a dynamic function dedicated to accelerating AI and agentic AI implementation across the entire value chain.
