Senior Director Commercial Execution

The position
As the Senior Commercial Director, you will lead the development and execution of commercial approaches that drive growth and adapt to changing market conditions. Your role requires deep sector knowledge and a data-informed mindset to translate market and customer insights into practical direction for sales, marketing, and product initiatives. You will also inspire and guide cross-functional teams to deliver results and foster a culture of innovation aligned with overall business objectives.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
•    Develop, implement, and refine commercial strategies that support business goals and respond to market shifts.
•    Use market and competitor insights to shape product positioning and go-to-market plans for pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare offerings.
•    Translate data and analytics into actionable decisions to assess and accelerate commercial performance.
•    Drive customer-focused initiatives by applying consumer insights to product development and marketing efforts.
•    Lead and motivate teams to achieve targets while promoting engagement and a results-oriented culture.
•    Champion innovation by identifying opportunities and adapting strategies to evolving regulatory and market environments.

Qualifications
•    Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and preferably consumer healthcare markets, including trends, competitors, and regulatory environments.
•    Proven experience developing and executing marketing and sales strategies for pharmaceutical or consumer products, leveraging data analytics to inform decisions and drive performance, and delivering customer-focused product and marketing initiatives that boost adoption and growth.
•    Exceptional leadership skills with experience in leading and inspiring teams – functionally and metrics.
•    Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions and drive innovation.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative and results-driven culture. Fluency in English will be a requirement.

The Danish & Icelandic Affiliate is responsible for the commercial, medical, and market access initiatives in Denmark and clinical initiatives across Europe.
