Job Title: Senior DevSecOps Consultant

Location: Full-Remote (Europe or LATAM preferred), EST Timezone

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Consultant with a strong foundation in software development and a passion for cybersecurity. If you have transitioned from a development role to focus on security and have a solid grasp of both Application Security (AppSec) and DevOps practices, this role could be a great fit for you.

In this position, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure applications. You will also provide guidance and support to both internal teams and clients, helping to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle. Your experience in security automation and integrating various services using high-level programming languages will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate security solutions and automation into both new and existing applications, aligning with modern DevSecOps practices.
• Assess existing systems and codebases, identifying opportunities for security and architectural improvements.
• Evaluate and implement new security tools, technologies, and platforms that enhance security and operational efficiency.
• Manage and deliver multiple client projects, offering expert security advice and ensuring high standards are met.
• Contribute to the development and integration of security automation tools within Dev(Sec)Ops pipelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript, Golang)
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on cloud security.
• Good understanding of AppSec practices, including secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
• Experience in building and securing serverless solutions.
• Good understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, with a focus on integrating security into these workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address security risks effectively.
• Ability to clearly explain security concepts to both technical and non-technical team members, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
• Proficiency with tools like Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, with the ability to automate and secure infrastructure.
