Senior Device TCAD Engineer

Belgium – Leuven

The Role:
We’re seeking a Senior Device TCAD Engineer to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about TCAD simulations, DTCO flows, and advanced device architectures, this is your chance to design the tech of tomorrow. In this role, you’ll develop and optimize virtual process integration schemes for next-gen devices like NS, CFET, and 2D materials-based circuits.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop TCAD/DTCO flows and simulation decks for advanced semiconductor devices.
-Optimize device performance through emulation, process, and device simulations to meet PPA (Power, Performance, Area) goals.
-Stay up to date with industry trends by researching literature and benchmarking state-of-the-art technologies.
-Represent the company at international conferences, sharing your expertise and learning from global leaders.
Qualifications:

-PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-3+ years of hands-on experience with TCAD simulators (Synopsys, Silvaco, Global TCAD Solutions, or equivalent).
-In-depth knowledge of semiconductor physics and advanced device architectures (FinFETs, GAA-NS, CFETs, and 2D materials).
-Solid understanding of CMOS process flow and integration.
-Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Dutch or Chinese is a plus.
-Passion for learning and exploring emerging tech trends.
