We’re interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the table!We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Work Dynamics Estate Management (CEM) team.Role summaryThe primary objective of this role is to ensure timely and accurate billing and collection of our clients sub-tenant portfolio in accordance with our documented best practice processes. The role will work within the Workplace Dynamics Finance and Estates team and requires cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.What this job involvesEssential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Timely and Accurate rent raising to ensure all rent, service charge and other demands are sent to tenants in accordance with the lease terms.
  • Monitoring and analysis of outstanding debtors balances, state of account confirmation, negotiations concerning terms and conditions of debt repayment;
  • Ensuring tenants pay on time and in accordance with the lease terms.
  • Preparation of regular debt collection status reports of rent receivable, service and non-regular charges
  • Handling inquiries from tenants, internal and external clients
  • Cooperation with the Lease Administration, Accounts Payable and Estate Management Teams.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing other duties as required to support AR Department and wider Client Estate Management Team

Team Work

  • Attend regular meetings with finance and estate managers as needed to resolve issues and ensure client needs are met.
  • Build strong working relationships with portfolio finance team, estate managers and other related teams.
  • Support senior management in creating an industry leading Client Estate Management (CEM) team, which is considered a ‘Centre of Excellence’ both internally and externally.

Desired skills and experience for this jobRequirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in debt collection and billing.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulation
  • Experience in credit control, preferably in Property/Commercial Real Estate
  • Relevant University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance (preferred)
  • Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must
  • Strong MS Excel skills, able to work with large data sources.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required
  • Good knowledge of Horizon system is a plus.
