Dematic is looking for a talented Senior Controls Software Development Engineer to be hired with a permanent contract, for its premises in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI) – Italy. Within the R&D office, he/she will work in an international Mechatronic and Controls team to develop products for supply chain.The employee will be responsible for develop and maintain the Controls Software for SC3 (Dematic Crossbelt sorter) following the R&D roadmap defined by product managementWhat we offer:Career DevelopmentCompetitive Compensation And BenefitsPay TransparencyGlobal OpportunitiesLearn More Here:Tasks and Qualifications:The Senior Controls Software Development Engineer is going to:Maintain the crossbelt sorter base Controls Software solutionImplement new Controls software functionalities as defined in the product roadmapSupport commissioning community in deploymentDevelop machine safety according to global and local regulations

Develop and maintain HMI applicationMaintain and update configuration and utility toolsIntegrate software and configuration documentationLead onsite commissioning activities in case of new features or crucial customizationThe following skills are required:Programming skills at development levelKnowledge in the C/C++ programming languages at development levelProblem solving attitudeGood knowledge in C# VB, VB.NetExperience Linux OSBasic Knowledge in industrial ethernet (profinet, ethernet/IP, ..) and fieldbus (profibus)Good knowledge of Italian and EnglishAvailability to short travels (travel up to 20% required)
