Job Purpose/Role

Allianz Holding Eins GmbH is responsible for Central Europe (CE) Region focusing on strategic development, planning and leadership for financial services sectors within the region. The region covers

11 countries including Austria, Bulgaria, Czechia, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.

CE Legal and Compliance is advising regional management on all legal and compliance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and restructurings, strategic partnerships, and implementation of group wide compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Chief Compliance Officer in relation to coordination and execution of regional compliance activities. 
  • Advising CE regional management on various compliance matters.
  • Perform compliance activities, in accordance with Group and regional rules, conduct internal investigations and compliance reviews.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization’s compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement compliance programs to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Promote a strong compliance culture.
  • Supporting and overseeing the local entities with respect to the implementation of group-wide compliance programs and specific Group Compliance projects. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master’s in Law or University degree in a business-related field (e.g. Finance, Insurance, Business Administration / Economics)
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal. Business fluency in other languages in the CE region would be an advantage.
  • Relevant professional experience, 7+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry (Insurance, Banking is a plus) with focus on finance, compliance, risk management, internal controls, external or internal audit or as consultant.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft office package. Experience working with ORGS/Open Pages an advantage.
  • Experience in Operational and Compliance Risk Management
  • Project management experience and execution focus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, intercultural, social and organizational skills
  • Drive change by adopting new ideas and influencing peers and colleagues to embrace changes
  • Taking ownership, actively seeking and volunteering for new challenges; strong team spirit and value-add driven mindset; establish and maintain constructive working relationships
  • Enable and drive international, cross-functional and diverse teams
  • Intellectual curiosity and readiness to learn
  • Good ability to work autonomously within pre-defined parameters.
  • Excellent MS Office skills

For this position we offer a gross salary of at least EUR 70.000 gross (full-time basis) yearly. Overpay is possible in case of and depending on appropriate experience, qualifications and commitment.
