Do you want to grow both personally and professionally?Then you might be our new Senior Cloud Architect.The jobWe are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our Human Capital Management Cloud Development Department. Here you will play a crucial role in building our industry cloud platform (ICP) together with 4 Cloud Architects. This platform supports various products within our business unit, which serves the Danish public sector. Our ICP product is developed using C#/.NET and Pulumi, following a code-first, cloud-agnostic, and open-source strategy.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop KMD’s future Industry Cloud Platform.
• Create modern, automated, code-first infrastructure.
• Support the organization in migrating products to the cloud.
• Explore and manage new technology opportunities.
• Evaluate technologies and execute PoCs to determine their maturity and suitability for the platform.
• Monitor and challenge architectural decisions across product teams.

In addition, you will also assist other application development teams in migrating their products to the ICP using different cloud migration strategies.About youTo be successful in this role as a Cloud Architect, we would like you to meet some of the qualifications below:

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
• Strong understanding of architecture principles, enterprise-grade service design patterns, and best practices across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
• Curiosity about people, products, and technologies, with the ability to shape and execute new projects.
• Experience with doing presentations for and communicating with top-level executives, business stakeholders, and external customers.
• Fluency in English and Danish.

For this role we do have some preferred qualifications:

• Practical experience with multiple cloud stack providers (e.g., Microsoft, Amazon, Hetzner).
• 10+ years of experience in C#/.NET development.
• 5+ years of experience in application architecture design and software development.
• Hands-on experience in building technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Experience with Linux and other open-source software.
• Familiarity with Pulumi or Terraform/OpenTofu (Infrastructure as Code).
